We believe in helping everyone live a life of dignity, including the disabled. That belief is the driving force behind all our services. And it’s why everyone gets individual attention from our professional staff.
Take a look at how we might be able to help someone you love.
Personal Care Attendant Services (PCA)
The elderly and those with disabilities can sometimes struggle with daily activities. PCA can help.
Being at home, instead of a nursing home or other institution, is a big step toward gaining independence and regaining their sense of humanity. It’s what we are about!
These services provide an excellent opportunity for children and adults with developmental disabilities to live at home. They may even live on their own, if possible. Nothing is left to chance because each person receives a detailed, individualized plan of care.
Our trained staff is there every step of the way, assisting family members caring for loved ones at home. In addition, they can help primary caretakers, giving them time for themselves and relieving some stress.
Attendants help with personal hygiene, light household chores, shopping, cooking, eating, bathing, and dressing. Simple tasks like this make a world of difference in the lives of those we serve, providing them hope and a sense of comfort.
PCA is funded by Medicaid and provides an Individual Service Plan for everyone in our care.
SUPERVISED INDEPENDENT LIVING
Living in your own home. It’s something many of us take for granted. But for a person with developmental disabilities, the chance to live independently is a dream come true.
With Supervised Independent Living, that dream can become a reality.
Gulf Coast Social Services teaches those in our care valuable skills like money management, safety, housekeeping, transportation, and hygiene through this Medicaid-funded program. In addition, we help them gain social skills and show them where to find additional resources within their own community.
All this adds up to a more independent and fulfilling life.

LONG TERM PERSONAL CARE SERVICES (LT-PCS)
LT-PCS provides a helping hand to individuals 21 years or older who meet a nursing facility level of care.
Our trained professionals provide:
- Basic personal care and grooming.
- Assistance with bladder and or bowel issues.
- Assistance with eating and cooking.
- Help with light household chores (for the recipient only).
We can also accompany the recipient to medical appointments and provide help with grocery shopping, as well.
Adult Day Habilitation Program
We believe the quality of life can be linked to a person’s ability to make meaningful contributions to their community. Through the New Opportunities Waiver (NOW) Program, adults with mental and physical disabilities can do just that. We help them cultivate their social and creative talents through structured daily activities that connect them to their surroundings.
RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS WAIVER (ROW) HOST HOME
Sometimes those with developmental disabilities can’t live with immediate family. But that doesn’t mean they must be institutionalized. Instead, ROW Host Home, a Medicaid-funded program, provides a family setting that is welcoming, safe, and nurturing.
These caring environments promote our commitment to greater independence and self-sufficiency for those we serve.
Row Host Home is part of the NOW Program.

Supports Waiver
Individual care planning is critical in the formation of the people who depend on us. That is why we create an individualized plan of care for each person who qualifies for this program. It provides vocational services for the recipient and ensures care planning is a team effort between the individual, their family, and our professional staff.
